The Enchanted Forest
by Sondry

Greetings, Fellow members of the Dawn,

I have done a bit of research on the area that is commonly known as the Enchanted forest. It is a place of many inhabitants, ranging from the smallest fungi to a rather large guardian. This place is filled with a few not-so-well known secrets. The Enchanted Forest is named as it is because of the creatures that make the forest their home, as well as the strange powers that some of them possess.

The Enchanted Forest can be reached by anyone that wishes to go there, as it is not a long travel and there are no dangers on its path. The entrance to the Enchanted Forest lies a bit east and then north of Arinock. When you travel this path, you will be confronted by the guardian of the Enchanted Forest.

The Guardian of the Forest is the strongest of all of the inhabitants of the forest, and is surrounded by a white aura shield to protect himself. The guardian wields the Guardian's Wrath.

Following the path north with take you into the Forest. From here, you can travel east and north, which will bring you to a Hermit's hideaway. The hermit is in this hideaway, and he is well, naked. I preferred not to spend much time here *chuckles* so I traveled back south and west. This places you back one north of the guardian. From here, you can travel west and south. This will bring you to Kesali. Kesali is quite interesting, and also quite mischievous. She is a small fairy with little power or strength.

From here, I traveled back north and east. This puts me back on the path through the forest. Next, I traveled north, which gave me exits to the north, east, and west. If you go east, you will find a huge treant. This treant is one of the enchanted creatures of the forest, as it whispers to you. When going west again, you return to the path. If you travel to the west two more times, you will find a clearing in the trees. In the center, is Creed, shaman of the forest. I chose not to disturb his meditation, so I traveled east back to the path. I now traveled north on the path, which took me deeper into the forest.

Again, I had exits to the north east and west. Traveling west took me to Alara, the Fairy Princess. She is quite beautiful, though of course not as much as I am. *winks* Next, I traveled back east to the path. Going east from here places you in a wild fruit patch. This part of the forest showed me little interest, so I headed west onto the path. Next, I went north, and still deeper into the Enchanted Forest.

From this part on the path, you can head east, west, and north. By heading east, you will fun into the Fruit Patch again. Here though, is a handful of wild fruit that you can pick up and take with you. Next, I headed back west to the path. Now, I headed west, to stone path. Skipping along stone path, are skipping stones, as the name implies. These creatures are perhaps the most interesting of all of the forest, as they are immune to slashing attacks. They are great for improving your parry, dodge, and shield blocking skills because you deal them no damage if you have a slashing weapon, while they deal you very little themselves, offering you a chance to dodge, parry, etc. their attacks. From stone path, you can also go west, taking you to the streams edge or south to the home of a fox. But for now, I will just head back east to the path.

After getting back on the path, I traveled north once again. This takes me to the end of the forest path. At the end of this path, there is a well in which you can drink from. You can travel both east and west from this well. As nothing of importance lies to the east, you can travel west to the streams edge.

At the streams edge, you can find a school of fish. The stream runs north and south from here. By traveling north, you will reach Opal Lake. A rare white stag is drinking water from Opal Lake. You should not disturb this peaceful setting, as it is one of few in which nature is balanced.

Next, I traveled south, back to the Streams Edge. From here, I next went further south, which dropped me into the Crystal Stream. Traveling east from this place takes you back to stone path. You can also travel south on the stream from here. By traveling south, you reach a dam in the stream. This is the end of Crystal Stream, and the end of the Enchanted Forest. To simply reach the entrance of the forest again, travel north, east, then south from the dam in the stream.

This concludes my travels through the Enchanted forest.
