The ogres

Solitary and imposing, the ogres are like unto giants to the rest of the races of Rhia. They are none too quick, both physically and mentally, and thus often choose an isolated existence. Originally living on vast mountain peaks, the ogres are almost impervious to physical hardships. Because of their solitary existence, ogre poetry is a common pastime to occupy the mind in the long hours of quiet. When ogres meet, they often exchange poetic greetings. While the elvenkind would certainly scoff at its seeming rudimentary structure and lack of elegance, such poetry is quite an art form. It is also worth noting that while the ogres certainly possess brute strength, they do not innately tend towards cruel or warlike behavior unless provoked.
