What's that?
OOC:
First started mudding on a very small CircleMUD called umm, well, right now the name of it escapes me, back in 1993. Oh, that’s it, Primal. I actually went and visited it a couple years ago now, and it’s still running. Anyway, being Circle based, it was no-pk and kinda boring, but it was a decent place to start off. The university I was studying at was cracking down on game-playing and the next couple years were spent trying to outwit our network administrators and play games while they tried to lock us in. Typical college behaviour. Finally my dorm got wired and we were live from our rooms with no restrictions so the mudding came back. I and a few friends found Illusions of the Mind in 1995.
I bummed around on Illusions for a few years, gradually getting more and more fed up with the changes that were happening until finally I gave it up. Got my first immortal position on a never-opened mud called Scale Towers as a builder with Megwin. They bumped me up the imm ladder a few times, eventually to IMP, but without a coder, it was never going to happen. Simultaneously I spend some time being a waste of space on Danse Macabre. If you know the name, you know how it went, if you don’t, well, you don’t. Also, I did some Admin work on The Black Lands, a MUD that Steadman was organising, but again, I got bored and I don’t think it ever went anywhere. I logged back into Illusions one day to see if any old friends were around and they pointed me to Dark Risings (Thanks HC…) and here I am today.
Offline (yes, yes, there IS an offline world out there!) bits:
I’m self-employed, running a very modest computer store in an insignificant part of Northern Australia. Happily married as of a few days ago (which will mean very little if you read this in a year’s time) so maybe someone will go "ooh, that’s what the title was all about!" Why am I writing this? Who the hell wants to know this kind of thing anyway?

Everything else, including writing this.
